FieldHail
FieldHail is a weather alerting service for farm fields, operated from
Minnesota, USA. It records radar-estimated hail, lightning and rainfall on
each field a farmer draws, and keeps a history they can hand to an
insurance adjuster.
Text messages
The only text message FieldHail sends is a six-digit sign-in code, and only at the moment someone asks to sign in by entering their own mobile number. There is no marketing list and no recurring text programme. Weather alerts are delivered as push notifications in the app, not by text. Message and data rates may apply.
